Service Description

Microneedling pen: Uses sterile, sealed individual disposable needle cartridges for optimal patient safety, comfort and results. Every Dermapen needle tip has multiple needles, penetrating vertically generating small micro skin channels, while stimulating the skins natural ability to heal its self while increasing the production of new collagen. These channels carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing penetration deep to the skin fibroblasts, feeding the cells. This increases the absorption of active ingredients into the skin, stimulates the repair at a cellular level and accelerating the regeneration of the skin’s epidermal cells. How MicroNeedling Work Microneedling pen provides delivery of micro needles, creating micro-injuries to the epidermis and dermis. By creating these micro-injuries to the skin, the body’s innate ability to repair, start to occur. The first phase begins with the release of the bodies growth factors and the further cascade of new epidermal growth and matrix production. This proliferation of the body’s tissue continues to release growth factors. The second phase of wound healing involves deposition of collagen III, IV, I and elastin. The last phase results in tissue remodeling where the skins vascular matrix matures and skin tightens. What to expect: 1. Minimal bleeding during the procedure 2. Mild discomfort/mild pain 3. Skin sloughing on the treated area (as skin heals, 2-5 days after treatment) 4. New skin start to appear ( 10-15 days after treatment) Downtime: Minimal Frequency: Every 3 to 6 months
